Coronavirus' Impact on Grocery Stores

Updated: Apr 21, 2020

Canned food in grocery stores, all gone, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, all gone. Grocery stores are limiting the number of dairy items (milk, eggs, butter) that you can put in your cart. They are mostly very low stocked on everything. When you go to the grocery store there is usually a line with tape or dots on the ground to show how far you have to stand apart from one another. Before you can get in, there are usually two or three store workers with hand sanitizer that they squirt into your hand before you are even allowed in the doors. Once you grab a shopping cart the workers give you a wipe to wipe down the handles of your cart. For the most part, shoppers are respectful of giving each other space.
