Our school hasn't officially been canceled, but many other public schools ave extended their spring break by 2 or 3 weeks. Most grocery stores are almost empty. Thousands quarantining themselves. 187,689 cases worldwide. 4,661 cases in the US. 7,494 deaths worldwide. Hundreds of schools closed in Texas alone. 4 cases in Travis county. It was estimated by national health officers that the Chinese Coronavirus could continue through August. Kids at Long-View had to have their vacations canceled. One student had to cancel their birthday party, and one canceled their cruise vacation. Some schools are considering closing for the entire rest of the school year.
