Long-View and other schools will possibly cancel school due to Covid 19 (coronavirus)

half of AISD (Austin Independent School District) cancelled all school for today and will likely stay cancelled through weeks after spring break. This might be a problem because a good amount of teachers' kids go to the AISD school district. Teachers have to take care of their kids as well. Even if Long-View doesn't shut down, the city of Austin will likely encourage businesses to start working home. The coronavirus is generating trouble for many other things as well. Two long-view learners' vacations were ruined. One learner said that they were planning to go on a cruise. You can probably imagine why they canceled that. The other learner said that they were planning to go to a broadway show and then go to the Houston rodeo (the biggest rodeo in the world). Both were canceled and they couldn't get a refund on either.

Let's just hope that school doesn't cancel, if not we could be having a very long spring break.
