Donald Trump, the president of the United States, was just issued with a case of coronavirus. People around the country are either scared, or excited, or have mixed feelings about this issue. Trump and The white house tweets a picture of Trump on his desk, an American flag in the background, and some people predict him signing what seems like a blank piece of paper. People around the country are walking around with signs saying stuff like; speedy recovery, and feel better soon.
Joe Biden, Trump's half rival and half competition, is uncertain of Trump’s ability to debate. Joe Biden and the country was shocked, a lot of the white house and government high figures and leaders and such have coronavirus right now in these times, but the president is a bigger thing. Nobody really knows who spread the virus to Trump, but it is most likely for it to be Bill Stephen, his campaign manager, and the republican national committee chair, Ronna McDaniel. Biden is trying his hardest now after the news of Trump having coronavirus came out, to have frequent COVID testing, for he is still in-person campaigning. Trump and Biden have an upcoming debate on October 15th. Trump might not be able to come in person and many people are talking about whether or not he can come. Debates are happening frequently so they have to keep up and be careful of the president's health. A Cleveland clinic's request was denied after they asked if they could please require masks.
Almost everyone in debate halls except for candidates and moderators will be required to wear masks until they are escorted out. Doctor Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Diseases, told CNN that He hadn't been involved in Trump’s COVID case care.
“I have not been involved, but again, I do not want to get into talking about the President’s case because that's not something that I really have been cleared to talk about but personally, I have not been involved with the direct care of the President,” Fauci said.
Fauci complemented the physicians doing Trump's care and said he's getting "optimal care".
“I might comment that my colleagues that I know, including Sean Conley, are very good physicians and very qualified so I am really confident that The President of the United States is getting optimal care that you can get with the team over at Walter Reed,” Said Fauci.
The President’s COVID case has shocked us all, but more is to come. Let me send you off with a tweet by Donald Trump after he left Walter Reed.
October 5th:
“I will be leaving the great Walter Lead Medical at 6:30 P.M. Feeling really good! Don't be afraid of COVID. Don't let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs and knowledge. I feel better then I did 20 years ago!!!”
