OPINION: Trump Impeachment

By Margaret Clark

Well, we all know of the wretched president of ours, Donald Trump. Some people call him a disgrace, some know of him as an evil monster, and some tease him mercilessly.

Anyway, he is not that beloved anymore. For his 4 year term starting in late 2016, he has done nothing but bad. His worst(And most famous) act was to build a wall. We all know about the wall that divides Mexico and America apart. The famous wall tears families apart and kills animals because of not letting them hibernate and migrate.

This horrible wall was only one of the many, horrible things that Trump has infiltrated against America. Starting off with He ordered the drawdown of nearly all U.S. forces in Afghanistan and Iraq, and most of all threatening millions by not issuing anything to help stop the coronavirus.

And now, you see, and acknowledge, and probably already know, all the terror President Trump has rained on America. And for all of this, he should have been impeached, right. Well, on December 18th, 2019, Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives. And once the senate thought about this, they decided to acquit him of his charges(Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress) on February 5th, 2020.

It was a sad day, knowing that he was still president, and there were more damages that he could do. And then, only a couple of months later, the national pandemic hit us.

And with all of the commotion that the Pandemic has brought us, all the loss, and all of the terror and scares everything horrible that happened in 2020, and even already in 2021. Through most of this, you think that the president that let this happen would be impeached on the spot.

And now, moments it seems, before Biden will become president, Donald Trump is

being impeached. On January 13th, 2021, Donald John Trump became impeached, for all of these reasons I stated and more. This cowardly shadow of a mad was impeached 1 week before his term ended. Not only is this a big moment in history for the first president to be impeached twice, but it's also the day that I began to realize how long it took for all of America to see how awful this man was. And on that day, Donald Trump was impeached, and the air seemed fresher, not as clogged, and as well I felt more free, knowing that hopefully, the greatest damage has been done.
