Politically, COVID-19 is a complete and utter crisis. Many governments around the globe have either shut down or gone on lockdown. The U.S. government has made many ordinances for the coronavirus. From the Federal Government to the City, our leaders are taking no chances. And I mean no chances. Thousands of restaurants around the country closed due to the ordinances passed restricting them to only do takeout or be restricted to something else. This has caused many restaurants to shut down and all restaurants to struggle at least a little bit. Last week, in the U.S., over three million people lost their jobs. In the last week in Texas, over 150,000 people lost their jobs. As the U.S. is replacing China as the epicenter of the virus, the government is struggling for solutions and control over this virus and so far, no one can claim that it’s working.
